Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open from Wednesday-Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Q: What’s the deal? How do I place an order?
A: You can place an order during business hours over the phone at (207) 372-2111. Please do not leave orders via voicemail. We strongly encourage preordering by phone; this will ensure you are scheduled the pickup time you would like, without subjecting you to delays or product sellouts.

Q: Is everything you have always available?
A: Each week, we have a selection of 4-6 different entree and side dish options in our refrigerated grab-and-go case. These meals are available all week, and generally do not need to be reserved ahead of time; however, if there’s a particular entree you’ve got your heart set on, give us a call so we can set one aside for you. These meals can be warmed for you to order, or heated at home.

We also maintain a menu of gourmet grilled cheese sandwich options, which are all cooked to order. This menu is the same from week-to-week.

Q: When does the new menu drop?
Our workweek runs from Wednesday-Sunday. New items in the grab-and-go case are available beginning on Wednesdays, and continue through Sunday.

Q: How do I heat up my food?
A: All of our entrees are packed in microwave-safe containers. Leave the lid snapped down tight, then microwave on high for two minutes. Crack the lid, give things a stir, see what’s doin’, and then cook for another minute or two as needed.

Q: What’s this about burgers? Or fried chicken sandwiches? Or something else that I’ve heard about, but that doesn’t appear on the regular menu?
A: Every Wednesday, we serve fried haddock sandwiches from 11-7 p.m. Every Thursday, we serve cooked-to-order burgers from 4-7 p.m. Each week, we feature our house “AnchoBurger,” which is available every Thursday, and a second weekly-changing “specialty” burger. On Friday, we serve a rotating cast of characters including some of our locally hard-to-find favorites from around the world of comfort food. Sundays are made for fried chicken sandwiches; they’re cooked to order, available all day, and change each week.

Q: Do I need to pre-order on “Theme Nights?”
A: Because we work out of a small kitchen with only basic equipment, a small staff and limited quantities of our specials each week, we do strongly encourage customers to order early. This allows us to get your order in the queue, plan ahead, and ensure a smooth service. Please note that you can place an order for any of our upcoming specials as soon as we open on Wednesday.

Q: Do you have a dining room? Do I need to make a reservation?
A: We offer counter service with options for eating in our indoor dining room, or (seasonally) outside at one of our tables. Please note that all food is packed to-go (regardless of where you decide to eat it), and we do not have waitstaff, plates, cups, ice, or metal silverware. It’s just not that kind of place. We don’t take reservations, but we do suggest calling ahead to place your order, to avoid long wait times and sold out items.

Q: What is the best movie in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise?
A: The best movie in the series is the original sequel, “2 Fast 2 Furious.” The worst movie in the series is “The Fast and the Furious; Tokyo Drift.”

Q: Can I pay for my order over the phone?
A: Absolutely! Just mention it when you call to place your order.

Q: How can I see what you’ll have on the menu for the week?
A: We update our menu on the website and on Facebook every Tuesday. You can also join our email list, to receive notifications in your inbox when we’ve posted new items.

Q: Wait, so you don’t sell honey?
A: We do not sell honey.

Q: Is there anything you’d like to tell me about allergies?
Due to the nature of our small space, there is a certain amount of gluten that’s airborne at all times, so those with severe celiac disease are advised to use caution. Cross-contamination between gluten and non-gluten items is not guaranteed. If you have other specific allergies, please let your counterperson know, so we can advise you.

Q: Why do I feel like there are some specials that I didn’t know about?
A: Though our grab-and-go and grilled cheese menu is posted here on the website, we promote our specials via our Facebook page, where we can show you gorgeous photos of what we’re planning for the week. Make sure to follow us there (and on Instagram!) to make sure you stay in-the-know with updates, surprise specials, out-of-stock announcements, or anything otherwise unplanned.
